Gambling Portal Implements User Voting Casinos

GameAbyss has long had their casinos directory and reviews, as well as the gambling search engine. Now the gambling community has a vote. Casino voting allows each casino, lottery, poker site, sportsbook, and more to place a vote box on their site.

Visitors may vote for the casinos with a ranking of either: poor, fair, good, very good, or excellent. Votes may be placed on the actual gambling site for visitors to vote, or users can vote directly at the GameAbyss Gambling portal. This is an important feature for gambling sites that do not have a large marketing budget, or are brand new.

If they provide good service and experience their users may love the site but how do they get the word out to others? By placing a vote box on their site, online casinos can now level the playing field and let their users recommend them to others through the vote.

GameAbyss has now split their gambling categories to sort based on reviews and also sort based on votes. This is a change for lesser known sites to become known through the use of their loyal user base.

To obtain a vote box each gambling site must make sure they are in the GameAbyss directory. If not they can submit their site and then obtain the voting code.
Last month GameAbyss released the first gambling weblog community, another first for the gambling portal. Now GameAbyss launches the first online casinos voting system for users.

About GameAbyss:

New Untapped Media in Casinos

Group taps into new media space in casino setting. Adult targeted branding right on the tables, chips, cards & slot machines.

Casino Media Group has launched a new media network that places advertising directly inside the Casino on gambling table felts, on poker chips, on playing cards and in surrounding POS, the company announced today. Casino Media is in discussions with major beer, spirits, pharmaceutical and lifestyle brands to launch the first wave of media in Q1 2005.

Casino Media Group has negotiated exclusive arrangements with more then 150 casinos around the US giving them unprecedented access to the casino floor and to 60 million adult consumers who made almost 300 million casino trips last year.

“Casinos are an untapped adult media landscape,” said Walter Marcinowski, Marketing Director at CMG. “The audience is more affluent, they are predisposed to enjoying, to traveling, to spending and to trying new things.”

CMG data describes a vibrant adult experiential setting with a higher than average median income, a very desirable advertising target. Women comprise 54% of the market. Demographic gaming preferences also allow the advertiser to target specific groups such as 21 to 34 yr old males who prefer poker. Females in the same group will play Slots or Black Jack.

“Of course, the opportunity extends beyond the Casino. With all the media interest in Poker as spectator sport, there are all kinds of marketing tie-ins we can create,” said Marcinowski, “including night club and hotel cross promotions, as well as sampling and events.”

Even the commemorative chips are a hot item, because they have an impact on the consumers for years after the promotion is over.”

New Blackjack System to Beat the Casinos Revealed

Professional blackjack player and strategy creator Andrew Johnson also known as AJ just launched his winning blackjack course at Black-jack-secrets.com

He will be teaching how he has been making a fortune literally robbing the casinos legally for years playing blackjack without the use of the now famous card counting strategies which the casinos combat by banning professional players.

Blackjack has long been considered one of the few games where you, the gambler, can achieve an edge over the casino. For some reason the casinos seem to think that after you have mastered the game of blackjack that you, the honest gambler, needs to be penalized. There are very few blackjack players that have the ability and or desire to become a world class card counter. This select group of very few players now have to hide their identity in order to gamble at a casino, playing their favorite game, blackjack

Law-makers around the world are beginning to agree with casino executives that drastic measures are needed to prevent skilful players from beating the game of blackjack.

Blackjack was derived from the French game vingt-et-un or twenty-one. Until about the mid 1950's, it was believed that the game was a lot like baccarat and the house had the edge because the player played first.

In 1956, a paper was published by Baldwin, Cantey, Maisel, and McDermott in the "Journal of the American Statistical Association" laying out a set of recommendations for the play of the game, these recommendations were very close to today's basic strategy.

The following year, they published a manual for the public with this system of play, but it attracted little interest until, Edward O. Thorp(PhD), saw the paper and understood that there were parts of the game that had been missed in the past. The first being that the composition of the deck changed with each card dealt, also, some combinations of the remaining cards favoured the house and others favoured the players.

In 1962, Dr. Thorp published his now famous book, "Beat the Dealer", which contained a simple yet profound message that decks of cards have memory. Each hand is dependent on the makeup of the deck at that time and by paying attention to the cards already played, the player can almost predict what will be appearing in the deck next.

Andrew Johnson has been playing blackjack as a business for over 10 years. He holds blackjack seminars and schools around the world and January 24th he decided to reveal his personal winning system for beating blackjack.

The newly launched website is called at Black-jack-secrets.com and anyone interested in knowing the insider secrets about the game of blackjack and how to profit from gambling should take a good look because AJ is a legend when it comes to professional blackjack!

To Have Happy Guests, Casinos Must Look Inward; Happy Employees Create An Enjoyable Gaming Experience

To Have Happy Guests, Casinos Must Look Inward; Happy Employees Create An Enjoyable Gaming Experience

All casinos want their guests to have an enjoyable experience at their property. Guests are more likely to have fun if the casino's employees also are having fun.

To Have Happy Guests, Casinos Must Look Inward;
Happy Employees Create An Enjoyable Gaming Experience

"One way to have happy employees is to roll out an incentive and recognition program," says Martin R. Baird, president of Phoenix, Ariz.-based Robinson & Associates, Inc., a guest service consulting firm for the gaming industry. "Most people are thrilled when they are recognized and rewarded for doing a good job."

Baird offers the following five tips on the importance of happy employees and how to show them their hard work is appreciated.

Number 1: If employees have a poor attitude or do not want to be at work, the casino's guests will immediately know it. "Guests pick up on attitudes very quickly," Baird says. "It's not easy to enjoy yourself when those around you have a negative outlook. Guests will not go to a casino that isn't fun."

Number 2: Before starting an employee incentive and recognition program, determine what behaviors you're look for from your staff. "Make this decision first so you know which behaviors to reward," Baird suggests. "Smiling certainly projects a positive attitude. What else do you want to reward?"

Number 3: Assign an unbiased, third party to observe and decide whether employees are performing the way you want them to. "A third party has no stake in the outcome and that results in fair treatment of all employees," Baird says. "If bias intrudes, your program will fail."

Number 4: Decide what the rewards will be. Baird says studies show that a tangible gift is preferred over cash. "There are plenty of gift companies that can give you ideas," Baird says. "Research them on the Internet. They have hundreds of gifts to choose from."

Number 5: Give the reward as soon as possible after the desired behavior is observed. "Employees may not make the connection if the reward is presented three or four weeks after they did the right thing," Baird notes. "Quick feedback reinforces the desired behavior."

Owned by Lydia and Martin Baird, Robinson & Associates, Inc., is a guest service consulting firm that provides specialty guest service training, management skills training, presentation skills training, team building programs and employee incentive and recognition programs for the gaming industry. The Bairds have a Web site, Casinocustomerservice.com, that's devoted to helping casinos improve their guest service so they can compete and increase revenues. Robinson & Associates may be reached by contacting Lydia at 480-991-6421 or at e-mail protected from spam bots. Robinson & Associates is a member of the Casino Management Association and an associate member of the National Indian Gaming Association.

Due to overwhelming response to their free cash contest Good Casinos.net announced today that they would add a $25.00 weekly and a $500.00 yearly “Mega Draw” giveaways to their already successful $100.00 monthly “Cash Draw” giveaway.

The contest is easy to enter and does not require the giving away any personal information just an acknowledgement that you are of legal age and signing up for their news letter.

Winners are notified by email when their name is drawn and the winnings are deposited directly into their Neteller account they are then automatically eligible for the $500.00 Mega Draw.

Good Casinos.Net Marketing Director Said The contest was started back in October of 2003 we had no idea that it would take off with such a bang!

We believe the success is due to our no strings attached method.
Most promotions of this sort have restrictions on the money, like only depositing into a casino account or using the money on their website only.

Not our contest, the money is deposited directly into your Neteller account, yours to do with what you want we believe that is what has made it such a huge success.

Expanding the contest is just one of the many things we have been working on lately. Look for other promotions rolling out from Good Casinos.Net in the near future.

Allot of online gamblers comb the net for casinos that offer deposit bonuses. Savvy past winners using the prize money to make the deposit can get a 200% match bonus from online casinos, and an additional Neteller deposit bonus of 10% getting basically $310.00 in their casino accounts to possibly win even more.

“You are virtually gambling on the net free!” Says one past winner “Nowhere else will you find a contest like this!”
